Hi everyone,

I like the functionality of the tab shapes available in Visio, but I need to change the design to match a different color palette.  Does anyone know how you can modify this shape, or create a new shape with the same functionality?

Thanks,

JD

Yes, but these are complex grouped shapes, which version of Visio?

Ok, start by creating a new blank stencil and copy the shape into that stencil.
I'll use the "Tab control (body)" shape as the example, the other other shape(s) will be similar ...
Double-click the new master and it'll open in the edit master window with the master explorer window attached.
In the master explorer window expand the shape until you can see all the sub-shapes, in this case you need to select sub-shape Sheet.8 (how do I know that? trial and error) then menu Format -> Fill and select what you want.
Close the master edit window, save the stencil. Now use the new shape from your stencil.
