Importing CAD and then not showing when I PDF

I have a trail version of AUTO CAD to enable me to convert some DWG files into a format that allows me to insert the file into Visio, however, when I convert the visio file into PDF, the drawing dissapears, only the visio shapes remain.

All I need to do is mark a floor plan with numbered icons....painful.

Please help.

How are you importing into Visio?  Are you letting Visio convert the Autocad file?  Which Visio version?
