underlying shape

Hi All.
Please look at attached files.
I have a page with many pumps. What i'd liked to do, is to have a bacground shape and then drag an shape ontop of the bg shape.
The new shape, will then get the BG shape data. And then I can use the BG data in my new shape.

Anyone have an idea of how to get values from a shape i drag an shape onto?

Use a container as frame and define a tag property.
In the pump shape you can reference the container's tag by: CONTAINERSHEETREF(1)!prop.tag
