Hi!
I guess this problem has s simple solution but I can't figure it out:
I am drawing a quarter circle and want to change its size, but I can't figure out how to do this without distorting it. Thus, after resizing, the quarter circle should still be a quarter circle, but it isn't if you just resize it in the ususal way (group and make the box larger or smaller).

Parts of circles are difficult to draw in Visio, especially resizing ... try these shapes ...

BTW, doing slices of isometric circles was pretty tough for me....if you want some thing like that, then post request and I will give you mine.

Just a point of clarification, a proper quarter of a circle will stretch and shrink and not distort.

Take a circle, bisect it both vertically and horizontally with two lines.  Select all, and then Developer>Operations>Fragment.  There is no grouping needed.  Select one of the "pie" quarters, and then Developer>Protection>Aspect Ratio.  Feel free to re-size at will.  The shape will not distort.

Here's a dumbed-down version of previous post:  http://visguy.com/vgforum/index.php?topic=8695.0

This only does wedge sections, i.e., pie sections of circle.  Just move the control point to cut your slice of pie as big or as small as you desire.  The overall shape may be resized using normal techniques.

This shape is based upon pointsalongpath approach.
