Viso 2016 (or whatever version I am on) drives me nuts

How do I disable the annoying function that glues connectors to page centre, page sides etc, other Shapes and so on.
It becomes quite unusable.
I have been trying to disable various glue/snap-settings without any luck (apart from disable it totaly, obviously I dont want that).

I know how trouplesome unwanted glueing can be, especially if you are working on large diagrams, so I did a little digging and found this:
