Hi,
I'm using Visio 2003 Professional. I have a multiple page template with the same legend on the bottom of each page. The same information needs to be entered on each one of these pages in the legend and also on a cover page that is laid out differently. I've linked text blocks in my template to document info by inserting fields in the text blocks, but there are not enough fields in the document info to enter in all the info I need to. Linking an excel file to the template doesn't allow the text to be formatted or edited in Visio. Anyone have any ideas how to do this better or more effeciently? Thanks.

Hi,

My idea is to use User-Defined cells in document and pages.
To edit the data, TextBoxes on the UserForm may be convenient.

Thanks for the info,
I'm not familiar with Visual Basic. So I tried my best to disect what you've shown. I think I have most of it figured out, but I can' figure out how to open Document info under Shape Sheet. When I show Shape sheet, it always show the page info. Thanks again.

Yes, the menu to show Document sheet is hidden behind the
menu View/Drawing Explorer Window.
Next on the Drawing Explorer Window, right click the Visio
drawing icon that is the first line in the window, then selsect
the bottom sub-menu Display Shape Sheet.
