I'm in the process of redesigning the DC and I wanted to do a floor plan showing top rack view and cable raceways top view. It would be great to be able to do Iso but for now, a flat diagram will do.

Thanks,

Sorry, yes I was looking fro stencil for Datacenter floor plans.

Have you tried googling?

Vojo has done some isometric data center type diagrams...somewhere on the forum.

Visio Pro should have related objects...not sure about top view.

You might look at these:

Yes  I have tried googling and of course, they have some great floor plans but they appear to be AutoCAD or some very fancy 3D Iso drawing which I would love to be able to create. I will keep looking, what you gave is a good start.

I would love for some stencils to do something like this

But again what you gave me I can work with.

Thanks..

I seriously doubt you find anything that detailed.

could look at buy 3D-visioner (SP) ...takes a visio 2D drawing into 3D....note, I never used it so don't know if any good.

Could use Azure template for Visio (they have shapes too) but, while very intelligent template, actual shapes are abstract
(any time you google, its the one with blue floor).

Visio 2013 3D is sort of a half assed approach
(connections and controls are not translated...Depth is along an axis, so cant make a 2 axis sloping surface, etc)

ISOs I did make 3D ISO only shapes by programming shapesheet.  Can be tedious to say the least.
here is one of my more recent ones (again not nearly as detailed as your example)

Well just for a user that tried 3d-Visioner SUUUUUCKED majorly ... so for future reference don't bother.

Thanks for your suggestions..

FWIW, June is the master of the 3D visio shape.  maybe drag (kicking and screaming) in this thread ;-)
