earlier today, accessing this website, I got whole different layout  (basically just articles)
Is there a move a foot to change the website layout?

I suspect the page was loaded without also loading the CSS files which define all the layout. That can happen sometimes.

I'm putting a newer theme onto the site, because the old one was, well, too old and had some problems.

Normally, you configure the whole thing offline on a local server, but I just don't have time to do that right now, so I'm tweaking it live.
