HitTesting connectors with the Visio Drawing Control, is it possible?

HitTesting a shape is trivial but is there a mechanism to HitTest connectors with the Visio Drawing Control?

I'm using Visio 2016 if that makes a difference (although I don't think it does).

Certainly you can select connectors in Visio so internally they handle HitTesting but through the API I don't see any way to do it.
