Hi guys

I am working on a template and I would like to make the use enter the name of the project, the name of the team the name of the manager and so on every time when the template is used to create a new document

Is there any way to do this?

Shape Data has a property "Ask" which asks the user to enter data when a shape is dropped on a page, but this doesn't seem to work for Document level Shape Data. I would expect it to work either when the document is created from a template or when the document is initally saved.

I really don't understand why Visio 2010 works this way ( I am being asked to fill the fields in the dialog below)

while Visio 2013 is not doing this

Update: after Googling more on this I came across this link
