I'm doing a schematic for a building project. I have the page set for feet and inches. If I place a standard rectangle shape, the text won't center if the shape is more than about 4' 4" (52 inches) long. The text is centered when the shape is less than 4' 4", but once it exceeds than length, the text remains centered at 2' 2".

What the heck did I do wrong this time?

This bug has been around for a long time, 52 inches seems to be the point at which text centering seems to go wrong.

Criminy! Unless there's some serious fundamental flaw in the Visio design, how hard can that be to fix?

Thanks. I was afraid that I had accidentally changed some arcane setting.

Could play with page scale so that 52" is shown as say 5.2"
