How Can I Change The Default Time Format For Calendar Shapes

I'm running Visio 2016.  I swear that in previous versions of Visio all my calendar shapes have defaulted to a 12-hour format, so 8:00 in the morning would automatically default to 8:00 AM.  In this version, all of my calendar shapes default to a military time 24-hour format, forcing me to manually switch each item to a 12-hour format.

I don't see an option for changing the default time format in the Visio 'Options' themselves, so I assume they use the global Windows format.  I've checked my global time and date settings in Control Panel, and everything seems to be set correctly.

Any help would be appreciated.
