Double click b/w 2007 & 2016 broke

Double clicking my shape would result in a pop-up that would let me edit the boxed fields.  No, it didn't bring up the ShapeSheet.  It was a pop-up window.  The DOCMD(1312) doesn't resolve this.  Any ideas?

Nah, that just takes me straight to the Define Shape Data window.  As far as I can tell there isn't a DOCMD that looks at user defined data like this.

You want to edit USER section?
The built-in UI only supports editing in properties section (i.e. editing shape custom properties).

Sounds a bit odd, but users are not supposed to edit user section.  Developers are.
For users, you have properties.
