Hi everyone.

I'd like to know if it is possible to insert more than one legend in a page, being each legend with a different content.

There's a image below illustrating what I'm trying to do.

Thanks in advance.

You can have multiple Legend shapes on a page, each counting different shapes. Right-click on the Legend shape and select Configure Legend.

Thanks for your reply, Paul.

I intend to make each legend refers to one PLC Rack, and sometimes more than one Rack uses the same shape, what makes the legend configuration not enough.
So I tried to put each PLC Rack in a container, but I don't know how to refer the legend to the container and not to the page. is it possible?

The legend shape uses background code which is not configurable.  The code merely counts what's on the page.

Cannot think of easy work-around.

I see.
Thanks for your reply Wapperdude.

I think I'm gonna find another way to count objects and build my own legend.
If you know any topic that could me help with this, i would appreciate.

Marcus.

Nothing specific, but, the Visio object model for containers does include a member list.  I vaguely remember seeing a video that featured Visio Guy,  Chris, and one other MVP which showed how to grab and display the member list.  Search the forum for container members...  I have V2007 so cannot directly help.
