Move Group Text

The default location for text is centered on the Group. I found this post here: http://www.visguy.com/2007/11/07/text-to-the-bottom-of-the-shape/

But that is not what I want. On the Visio shapes that come with Visio there is a Control that allows you to do exactly that.. a little dot lets you drag the text where ever you want.

So I assume I can set this up on my Groups. But I have quite a few Groups in my stencil and they are under a lot of development at the moment.

So is there a quick way to assign this control to my groups?

No easy button.

You could use the macro recorder to catch all of steps on your typical group shape, e.g., open shapesheet, insert control, set text position to the control coordinates.

Then, modify  the macro to step thru the shapes on each stencil in the document.  That's a b o as easy as I can think of.

I thought of a Macro. I wasn't sure it would be able to catch all of those steps. I will give it a try.

How would I modify it to run through all the shapes in a stencil?
