Dynamic Sizing, Shape

Hi ALL,
I need your help to find a way I can solve the following challenge:
I have a template that links to a DB table - this template has 7 categories and in each category there are 5-11 items - the categories (columns) are listed (text) and I only place shapes for the items in columns.
My issue is; the 7 columns take the full page, and if an 8th category is added, shapes are overlapped (the template shape is formatted and saved in the document stencil - how can I ensure that, for each added category, I can resize the master shape and ensure the end-result fits on the same size page (8x10.5), Thanks!
