Hello All,

I am fairly new to Visio as I have have always used autocad to design control systems. I am having trouble using the Review->Shape Reports tab to make a Bill of Materials with description, pt number , mfg, quantity etc. When I run the report, everything looks good but the table has a blue heading and yellow body, I am looking to make the table a simple black and white everytime I run the report. Also for the Master Bill of Materials for the shapes on every page, I am looking to make an excel sheet using shape reports that counts all similar shapes and counts them and puts them under quantity. The MBOM I have now lists each shape with quantity 1 and I have to go in manually and count all the shapes. Is there something I can do in the shape report advanced options to fix this?

Thank You

Also I have to manually scale the Bill of Materials everytime to fit on the page. Is there a way I can scale the table so the font could stay at around 6 font on every page? Also is there a way to keep the BOM on the bottom corner of the page everytime I run the report?

What's given in the advanced options is pretty much it.  There might be a setting in the registry.  You can use vba to edit the excel worksheet to format most every property.  Take a look at these:
