Hi everyone,

is it possible to copy a backround page from one Visio-file to another Visio-file?

A search of me in this Forum led to no hits.

Thank you in advance for your efforts and have a nice day.

Best regards

@Surrogate:
Thank you very much for your reply.

A special thank to Paul Herber.

Is there a way to manage backroundpages global?

We use Visio to create circuit diagrams.
The documents are stored and managed by a PDM-System.
Our template is located on the Server, so all Locations (Germany, China, USA, etc.) start with the same template.

If I add a new backroundpage (in this special case DIN A2), I want that all documents can load this new backroundpage.
New created documents based on updated template are no Problems.

But how can I handle existing and not released documents (or in regards to modification Management)?

Does anybody have a idea how to solve this issue?

Thank you in advance for your efforts and have a nice day.

Best regards
MB-Ing.

@Paul Herber:
Thank you very much for your Utility.
Great work :)

In the present case I want to copy a backroundpage from one document to another document.
Your tool enhenced my work for this time (only 30 documents), but does not represent a General solution for my issue.

Do you have any suggestions to me how can I fix my Problem?

Thank you in advance for your efforts and have a nice day.
