how to add code to connect shape event

hello, visio master, I am new one to the visio usage, now I have a question, hope to get some suggestion at this forum.

I hope a shape's line format automatic changed when it connect to a connector line, change the line colour of itself. I guess user can customize the connect to other shape event of the shape, but I don't know the step, must write a dll and register in OS? or just type some code in the shapesheet? or other solution?

I hope expert share their idea.
