Hello,

How can I make a polygon shape from lines?
I want to do this so as to fill with a color the shape.
I managed by the past by using a function in the developper mode but i didn't find this function again.

Thank you for your help

It is exactly what i was looking for.

However, it doesn't work for me.

I believed that my lines were not continuous but they seem to be when i zoom on it.

So if you have some ideas, why sometimes it doesn't work, i would be interested

Set snapping to include shape vertex.  Then position line ends to snap to previous placed line end.  The ends must be concurrent.  Then the steps Surrogate provided should work.  The 4 lines should merge to a single shape.

in visio 2013, after you join, you need to go into shapesheet and set "nofill" = false
(at least that is how it works on my laptop)

@Vojo:  in V2007, that's how it normally works, too.  Wasn't sure if newer releases had changed that.

Ah.  Played around a little.  If you select all of the lines after they've been placed, then do a combine, followed by a join, the new shape will fill without shapesheet editting.
