How to color sections of a floor plan I made connecting walls not shapes

I have made a large floor plan for our Radiology Dept's MRI safety Zones using architectural plans as a guide.  Some of the shapes were unusual so I made it connecting walls rather than Visio's premade shapes.  I now need to color in sections.  I can't figure out how to do this HELP!

can you trace around using a line tool? Once you've connected start to finish it becomes a shape and you can fill to your hearts content
