Multiple dotted connectors converge along the same path and become a solid line

Hi,

Hopefully someone has seen this before and knows how it's resolved.  I have a BPMN diagram and have many Tasks with Associations into a single Data Store.  The Associations are dotted lines between the Task and the Data Source, but there are so many that travel along the same path to the Data Source that they converge and become a solid line.  Is there a way I can stop the convergence from happening without creating multiple end points.  My dotted lines are 1pt thick.

Thanks.  I've uploaded an example.  I was hoping there is the ability, where connectors are on the same path, to align the line style and smooth out appearances to make it look more neater.

You can create custom line pattern, like as in attached document.

I got the same idea as surrogate, but the actual explanation is not only to use line patterns, but line patterns with background!
The trick is to have a white background, where normally the empty gaps would be.
So whenever dotted connectors overlap, only the foremost top line will show and displays its "white" gaps instead of showing the blacks of the background lines.

Yes, in my example i create pattern which contain black and white rectangles. If you select scale more than 400% you can see borders around white parts of line pattern.
It is my white background, and also you need overlay the longest connecting line on top of the others…
