A double-click doesn't open the text block of a shape

Sometimes I have the problem that I cann't open the text block of a Visio shape. So, adding text is possible by starting typing. But editing text that is already in the text block, does not work. How can I solve this problem?

Not all shapes have behavior that open text block. May be shape aka "shape text" of your group (block) placed into group.

Thanks. Indeed. The original shape, as selected in the stencil, was a 'group'. Using the function button 'ungroup' solved the problem.
