A double-click doesn't open the text block of a shape

Sometimes I have the problem that I cann't open the text block of a Visio shape. So, adding text is possible by starting typing. But editing text that is already in the text block, does not work. How can I solve this problem?

Not all shapes have behavior that open text block. May be shape aka "shape text" of your group (block) placed into group. :)

Thanks. Indeed. The original shape, as selected in the stencil, was a 'group'. Using the function button 'ungroup' solved the problem.
