Hi all,

I'm trying to change a fill color of a shape based on one of the shape data fields. So for example if user  picked steel type of construction the shape line would change to silver and so on. However I can't even change the color manually from the shapesheet. When I change color of the shape from UI it affects three cells FillForegnd, FillBkgnd and FillGradientEnabled. But when I'm trying to go backwards and changing values of that cells it doesn't have any effect on shape color.

Thank you in advance!

Nikolay

Hi,

Visio has a built-in feature for that, you don't even need to open the ShapeSheet.
You can use either color-by-value data graphics, or color-by-value addon, in the (very?) old versions of Visio

Check it out in the documentation:

To figure out what is wrong with your file, we need that file.
