Deploy Addon, Addin assistance please

Hi All,

I've written some VBA code that diagrams a sql database contents and I'm now trying to understand the options available to me regarding deploying it. I'd ideally like the code to be hidden to anybody using it and ideally in the form of an addon.

I've had a search around and can't find much on the topic apart from mention of 'Addons' and 'Addins'.  Also from what I understand these are only available if the code is in C# ?

If anybody has any useful information of web links where I may find information much appreciated.  I was also wondering if there was anything that could be done with some script being run from a browser, maybe a userform in a browser that, when completed downloads the relevant code from a webpage and runs it on a local instance of Visio ?  Maybe..
