I know there are problems with Visio 2003 in Turkish, one of the entries in the bug list for one of my software products is a problem with Visio 2003 with the Windows locale set to Turkey. I can reproduce it here now. It appears to be a problem with separators of some kind.
Can you temporarily set your locale to some other area and try it?

Has anyone found a reliable repro for this?  I'll try to fix it for Visio 14 if I can repro it.

Thanks,

Barry

Opening a Visio 2003 file in Visio 2007, select a shape and Form Paint gives me the error, saving as Visio XML makes it to work OK.

I tried to repro this with a simple flowchart drawing created in 2003 and opened in 2007 SP1 but was unable to get the error to appear.  Can you describe the file that you created in 2003?  Or, even better -- can you send it to me?  (email: barryal _at_ microsoft.com).  Sounds like an easy fix.

Thanks,

Barry

Actually just saving the file as a vsx, closing it, reopen it and save back as a vsd works.  No edit in vsx file is required.
