I'm trying to imbed multiple .pdf files to give detailed information on the procedures for each step of a process.

I use Visio 2003.

When I insert the .pdf file and display as an icon, the title of the icon defaults to "Adobe Acrobat Document".  If I have 5 documents for one step, how can I retitle the icon so that it is descriptive of the contents inside?

Hi KMiles,

I don't think you can change that "Adobe Acrobat Document" text, but you can add your own text to the icon.

Just select the icon/shape and start typing!

... and right-click menu -> Acrobat Document Object -> Convert ...
Change Icon -> Browse -> reselect the PDF icon
now type some new text in the Label field.
It appears you can't just change the Label field without changing the icon as well.

You can also do this when initially creating the link.
