Drop Dowm menu that works with a linked data base

I have a drop down (Fold Style on attache jpeg) that contains 12 items.
I have a Excel data base (also shown on the same jpeg)of the same 12 items where their columns have differant atrabutes for each.
I have a Form Item # on this form needs to be populated.
Here is what I am trying to do.I know about linking data to each sheet (Stencil) on this form and thus the columns of the forms attrabutes
do change in the linked sheets (Not Visible on the jpeg) Exammple: I can drag say Item SF-05 to the Form Item # sheet (stencil) and it will display
SF-05 and again all the other sheets will display the info for the columns of SF-05. I would like to trigger this action using the drop down menu
meaning when I select SF-05 from the drop down selection it allows alll the other sheets to populate from the spread sheet.
This would eliminate the drag and drop from the linked data spread sheet meaning the linked spread sheet need not be visible to the user
who will be filling out these forms. I hope I made this clear.  Thanx
