I am creating a simple shape to represent a couple variations in grounding for wires in wiring diagrams.
my shape is behaving just as I want it to with one exception. The ground symbol is not staying attached to the "shield" symbol. I want to be able to stretch the shape so it can cover fewer, or more, wires. When I do so, the ground type symbol should stay attached to the bottom of the shield but does not (only the shield should stretch, the ground symbol retains its size). Im sure this can be done in the shapesheet, probably in the geometry section, but I'm not sure what to do. Could someone light the way? I've attached the .vsd and a picture illustrating whats wrong.
Thanks!
what, me worry?

Fixed.  See attached.

Required changing PinY reference for the oval (shield) and the dot (splice) to reference the top of the ground shape.

Wow! that was even easier than I thought it would be!
didn't even have to mess with any geometry sections.
It works beautiful now, thanks wapperdude !  :)
