Hello,

I have a problem with printing out of Visio 2013. Worth knowing is, that there is a program adaptation on my visio 2013. This program adaption in combination with visio 2013 makes the printing-problem.
My printer is a hp designjet T790 which can print a page that is 841cm wide and as long as I want it.
If the visio drawing is only on 1 side (smaller than 841 cm) there is no problem with the printing.
Everytime I try to print a visio drawing which is bigger than 1 side (bigger than 841 cm) my printer is only printing a long blank page with the header and the footer in quadruplicate on it. To print such big visio drawings, I have to convert the drawing in a visio 2010 drawing and print it out of visio 2010. (On my visio 2010 there is the same program adaptation as on my visio 2013 but there is no problem with drawings bigger than 841 cm.)

Does anyone know what the problem is and how I can solve it?

Thank you very much.

I was asked similar question in Japan in printing large size A3 in small size printer A4 size.
I have an experience large size drawing about 70 cm x 1m in many sheets of small paper A4 in Visio 2010.
When I printed a part of large drawing with small printer, I move the Visio drawing on small page with a simple macro.
In this printing I printed always current page, and I have no problem in both Visio 2010 and 2013.
But the person in question printed current view, he has problem in Visio 2013.
The reason was printing in current view.
Here is my short video that prints out a part of large drawing to OneNote.

Theresa,
are you German for having written side (Seite) instead of page?
