I am just wondering if Visio can do this. Can Visio have value input boxes to change the shape and size of a right angle triangle?
For example (1):
Enter values for the Hypotenuse and an angle then have the side adjacent and opposite respond with values displayed, AND/OR
For example (2):
enter values for the side opposite and the side adjacent and have the angle and Hypotenuse respond.

This is for an electronics course where the students use right angle triangles to solve various types of circuits.

Thanks guys, hope to hear from someone and perhaps investigate further.

short answer:  Yes quite easy (if familiar to visio)

Long answer:   Not sure you can get by with just 2 items....I think you need 3  AAS, ASA, etc
Enclosed is a simple crude example....you can take it and modify the shapesheet  (double click triangle)
Also...MS has a bunch of educational shapes that might be useful (even better than this crude example).

That's Cool, I think too I should have said that the right angle my stay at a right angle. With students they have to solve for the triangle with only given two values.
I will definitely look at the educational shapes too, thanks vojo...

I have dabbled in the shapesheet a LITTLE over the years.
