Adding more than one connector between shapes

Hello all,

I am fairly novice, hopefully my question is easily answered. I want to draw diagrams with typically 2 connectors between shapes each pointing the opposite way. The automatic linking only seems to allow for one connector between shapes. Is this fundamental to visio, or can I easy add more than one (symmetrically).

Hi Gerald,
Basically there should be no restriction about the number and direction of connections between shapes.
The question that rises is about the intention behind this request.
