Custom Properties showing in shape sheet but not right click

So when I view my shapes shape sheet I can see the custom properties section, and the custom properties come up when I run a report. When I right click and go to View>Custom Properties I get a box that says there are no custom properties and if I would like to create some..  Attached picture for reference. Any help on how I can get to show the custom properties by right clicking would be greatly appreciated. I'm running 2003 by the way. I apologize in advanced because I could not find a relevant forum for 2003...

You might find that the custom properties are in a shape that is part of a group. In a grouped shape any part of the group can have custom properties as well as the top level group shape.

All "Invisible"s are set to true in your shapesheet in the attached picture.
Turn them to False.

Wow, can't believe I didn't catch the "Invisibles" being set to False. Thank you guys!
