Visio 2010 adds extra pages when pasting outside the sheet
« on: June 12, 2014, 05:58:42 AM »
In prior versions (2002 and 2007 that I know of) you could zoom out and drag-drop "off" the sheet into no man's land.  This was handy for plopping down excerpts from datasheets and such for quick reference.  NOW that IT has installed 2010 the same trick causes Visio to add other sheets around the central sheet.  This is enormously annoying.

How do I stop it from doing that?

Annoying, isn't it.
Page Setup -> Page Size
and ensure Let Visio expand the page as needed is deslected, i.e. select the paper sie you want.
