I am using the Office Layout template in version 2010 and in the Office Furniture Stencil there are various table styles, but I want to have a table the shape of a trapezoid that you find commonly in meeting rooms, but there isn't one! So I have created one and I want to attach one side of the table to the side of another table as you would find in a meeting room, but am having great difficulty because when I rotate it, I can't seem to rotate it correctly so that it will snap to the other side and I am left with an overlay or gap! I have tried adding connection points to try that way, but it still won't snap, I have picked the 90 deg table from the stencil and tried to alter the shape to a trapezoid using the pencil tool as this one seems to snap and glue!!! to the side and I want a similar thing to happen with a trapezoid, but when I mess about with it, it seems to lose its snap and glue properties and I end up with the same problem. I am extremely surprised that MS have not added this shape table to the stencil as this is a common table type! I have tried changing shapesheet properties but have ended up in a mess, I think as I don't understand them properly. If anyone can help I would be very grateful!
