How do you make custom line patterns global?

Hi,

I created some custom line patterns and ends in a particular drawing (e.g. I draw a line, and then select the "Dash type" in the Format window, and my custom line appears.)

How do I transfer these custom patterns outside of this particular drawing and make them available to all my drawings?
