ODBC Error en Organigrama en Visio.

Hola.

Estoy intentando actualizar información de un organigrama que hice con datos extraídos de una base de datos SQL Server (USUADIOSDB) sin embargo obtengo este error:

ODBC Error: S1009
[Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0][SQL Server]Database 'USUARI' does not exist. Make sure that the name is entered correctly.

Ya probé con otros drivers de SQL Server, hice un walkaround y encontré referencias al problema pero ninguna solución.

Lo que requiero es poder hacer refresh al organigrama y que en automático se carguen los items agregados en BD al organigrama.

What I require is automatically refresh the organization chart and add new items that has been created or changed on the DB.

de lo que escribes, llego a la conclusión de que no se haya podido aún establecer una conexión de base de datos adecuada. Esto no es específico de Visio.
Usted debe primero resolver esto, antes de la automatización de la actualización de su dibujo.

Hi Román,
from what you write, I conclude that you were not able yet to set up a proper database connection. This is not Visio specific.
You should first work this out, prior to automating the refresh of your drawing.

Roman,
You have two issues that you are facing.
1.) the odbc error is not a Visio error and must be resolved separately
2.) the OrgChart wizard will not/can not update an existing chart and add new entities or remove existing ones. The chart must be recreated.
