Copying Template Sheet

I write a significant amount of automatiion code in Excel.  In excel I can easily copy a template worksheet, give it a proper name and then populate it from data pulled from any number of sources.

I have a large project where I need to take a template network diagram and create the specific site implementation / "as-built" diagrams.  At this point I've never created any custom applications in visio, so sorry for what may be a unknowing question(s).   I want to copy a template sheet to a newly created sheet following the template, give it a name and then change the variable data elements in the sheet (network specific data).

The code will all be in VB since I'm going to turn it over to the operational support team when I'm done.

Any help or guidance is appreciated.
