Formatting is lost when using copy/paste
« on: February 25, 2014, 12:31:58 PM »
;) Ok, So, I solved my importing and formatting issues between AutoCAD and Visio.  However. I cannot copy and paste this symbol into some Visio files.  I've added the symbol into my template of shapes...and I can drag it into some files...but not others. You can see the line weight, line type and fills are all lost. (See attached  "master.38"  is the symbol).  Please help me figure out what I'm doing wrong. (My sanity may hinge on this).

Thanks,
Andy

Not really sure what you are after.
Adjusting the line weight (and other formating) after import either by Macro or manually should not be a big deal. I am missing something.
Not being able to keep all formating 1 to 1 between visio and acad seems acceptable.
