Hi Can someone please tell me why the text keeps fragmenting. If I write text and save the file when I open the file some of the text in the block has fragmented and the words are separated. It is not all of the text it is random blocks and the text moves slightly, words overlapping. It is annoying when I grab a text block to copy and find I have one word. There is also something not quite right with the lines they sometimes change but that is another issue. Is this a bug in the program or am I doing something wrong?

How and to what are you adding text to? Exact details are important. Tell us click-by-click .

Hello Thank you for replying.

>what are you adding text to?
A basic drawing, I have a couple of different templates that I use and now and again I find some of the text is fragmenting.
I select the text "A" click on the page and write the text then click outside the box.
I might spend time drawing eventually saving the file.
When I go back to the drawing later sometimes the text is fragmented. This has been happening for some time but I usually rewrite the text.

Never heard of such a thing. Best I can suggest is that if you can repeat the problem then post the file here.

Good Morning Paul

I found the problem there is a flaw in the program which is to do with copying from a page say with a scale of 1:50 to a page with a different scale say 1:100 which causes the text and the line problems.

I've moved the thread into the Visio 2013 Issues discussion area.
Text boxes don't rescale, the original box would have been created with a certain size, pasting into a differently scaled drawing makes the text extend outside the box so it flows differently.
