Hello All

i am a newbie with MS Visio 2013
i got the "Basic Network Diagram template" from Microsoft .com  using the visio 2013 search

but on the template, when I use the connector always put an arrow at the end of the connector is there a way to modify the styles or the template to do not add the arrow?

i am attaching a picture and the template itself

thanks for the help

Hi,

Glad you made it here!

The EndArrow style (4) is defined in the 'Parallel' Theme and is the same across most of the themes as far as I can see.  It is implemented though, in the Connector style (where you'll find the link to the theme via the THEMEVAL function.  You can overwrite this is the document style to be 0 instead of THEMEVAL, which evaluates to 4.

Note, that changing this will effect all dynamic connectors in your document which may or may not be what you're after.

Note, that you can, of course, select the connectors individually or as a selection and change the setting via the UI (Home [tab] / Line / Arrows) if you prefer.

See the image below and let me know if that works for you.

Best regards

John
