Find & Replace Shape Data?

Hello everyone. I apologize if this question has been asked/addressed already. I tried searching for an answer but became even more confused trying to makes sense of what I was looking at in the results.

So here goes. Does Visio 2010 have a function that allows finding and replacing shape data? The find feature will let me search for data within shapes but the replace feature will not. I'm a little confused why that is. This is the first major hurdle I've come up against that I haven't been able to figure out on my own. I'm relatively new to Visio so maybe I'm just missing something.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
