Hi,

Kindly let me know how to find it is container or Group.

Thanks.

Surrogate

Just describe how you created this "Main shape"...

Surrogate

I checked in container this formula dont works, and there unavailible set "Members first"

harsha652

I have taken it from Stencil created by different person.

Because of its huge size, I'm not able to attach it.

are you kidding ? This shape dont seems a shape with huge size :)
1. delete from your file all other pages from this document
2. deleteall other shapes from this page
3. apply file size reduction: File->info->Reduce file size
http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/visio-help/reduce-the-size-of-a-visio-file-HA010082918.aspx

these shapes have formula in cell EventDblClick
Quote=RUNMACRO("TAF___Visio_Template.NewMacros.ShapeDataMacro")
my PC haven't TAF___Visio_Template and i handle error

harsha652

hmmm

I still have the error. Unfortunately I'm not able to attach the file which has macro(because of its huge size).

Can you confirm what will be the value of the below field, when you select main shape. For me it is zero.

ActiveWindow.Selection.Count

Thanks.

Surrogate

ActiveWindow.Selection.Count
this code displayed how many shapes are selected!

I have tried in Visio2013, but the problem is still there.

PFA document for the problem I'm facing.

harsha652

If I change the "Selection" in behaviour to "Group Only", then macro gets processed fine. But the problem in this way is, I'm not able to edit the shapes.

Surrogate

try set open group by DoubleClick

after this action you entered in group, and can access sub-shapes

harsha652

I have made the settings you have suggested, but now if I double click it always enters to group

harsha652

Can you pls let me know atleast how to get the sub shape(which gets selected when I double click main shape) details using macro.

Thanks,

Surrogate

I am sorry, i am russian! And don't understand what is your problem  :(
