Rotate Callouts, or Vertical Callouts

How can I rotate a callout stencil? I'm trying to use callouts to label my network diagram, and it would be VERY handy to be able to use the same stencil for horizontal callouts as well as vertical ones. As of now, I have to create my own (vertical ones) using a text box and two lines, then rotating them. But I cannot attach them to a connection point. I've attached a picture describing what I'm talking about. The callout on the right is the stencil that I cannot rotate. The callout on the left is what I would want it to look like (had to custom make that one)...

which callout master are you use ? Bend callout or something else ?
