Is there no way to cut/paste sections?

Hi everyone;

As I struggle along, working to learn advanced visio to solve various problems, I'm often wishing for the ability to copy multiple sections or rows from one or more shapes to another.

Is there no way to do this, short of manually, one cell at a time?
It hardly seems possible that such a function be missing, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.
