Updating data in Visio using the Org Chart Wizard without changing formatting

Question: Is there a way to update data in Visio using Visio's Organization Chart Wizard (to pull in updates through Excel) without having Visio automatically change all of your formatting back to the Org Chart Wizard's default formatting?

Additional explanation: I've already pulled my data from Excel into Visio to create my initial org chart.  I've then made a few stylistic edits to the org chart (e.g., colored a few boxes; moved some boxes spatially to where I want to see them; used "Change Position Type" to change a shape).  I would like do update the data in the org chart based on edits I've made in my Excel file; and when I use the "Import" function, Visio brings in all the new data but I lose all of my custom formatting.  I just want the data to change--not the formatting.  Is this possible?  How?  Thank you.
