I am a new user. Is there someway to view all of the available shapes to help me choose which stencil I wish to open ?

Paul Herber

I've written an addon that can do this for you.

Paul,
Thanks for this add on. I am trying it now. Is there any other options ?

Paul Herber

There used to be facilty to do this built-in to Visio but it was removed a long time ago, hence I wrote an alternative. I know of no other.
It tries to do the best it can with any shape, you choose how many to show on a page (x across by y down), some types of shapes are not designed to resize like this or have geometry extending beyond their normal size.
