I have inserted an AutoCAD 2004 drawing (with a single layer, very simple, two pieces of furniture) into Visio 2010. When I click convert, specify scale and drawing protection (un-check the two lock options) and click apply, the AutoCAD drawing, now converted to Visio shapes, disappears. I can still select where the drawing was but with no re-appearance of the object; a grey 'select' box around the empty space shows up instead. I have made sure that the layer is turned on, and visible. Other lines from the same AutoCAD drawing will convert nicely and this specific furniture type disappears each time. I have tried separating the 'disappearing' furniture in a separate CAD drawing, changing the layers, colors, and some attributes and tried converting independently. No luck.

I feel like there should be a very simple solution to this issue. Anyone else experience this?
