Measure tool visio 2010

Hello,

I need a way to measure and place objects. I searched and found that there was or is a measure tool available.
I have Visio 2010 standard. Is there such a tool?

The best measuring tools are only in Professional. However, look in the stencil Walls, Doors and Windows in the Building Plan shapes and you will find the shape Controller Dimension.

Paul is probably correct about version availability.  But, if you do a shape search, look for something like horizontal outside or vertical outside.

Unfortunately, my work version is Premium, and has everything available.

Or maybe you're searching for the "Size and Position Window"? Don't know where to find in 2010 but I#d guess either on the View-Tab or the Developer-Tab. The last has to be activated in Visio's Menu Options first.

Great Info. I found everything all of you mentioned. Horizontal outside, Vertical outside, Shape controller dimension. The Size and position is in View->Task Panes->Size and position.
